Reuse the wording
A fresh inspection from a familiar checklist.
Turn the current inspection's area and checkpoint wording into a portable template. Use it for a different site without copying the previous site's findings, people or private notes.
Build a reusable checklist →What a template includes
Only a title and a list of area/checkpoint wording pairs. A template excludes source site/date, inspector, responsible-person labels, observations, due dates, resolutions and internal notes. Wording itself may still contain sensitive details: review the preview before downloading or sharing it yourself.
How to start a record
- Choose current wording, an imported template or an illustrative example.
- Review every checkpoint. Download this preview if you want a reusable file.
- Enter the new site and date, then create a new inspection. It starts with blank observations and every checkpoint uninspected.
- Adapt wording to the actual agreed scope, complete the inspection, then save locally or download a full private backup.
Template versus repeat
Use Repeat for another visit at the same site when you want to retain checkpoint IDs for comparisons. A new template-based inspection receives new IDs; matching wording alone does not link checkpoints across records. Earlier records stay unchanged in the collection.
Illustrative starting points
The office walkthrough, shared facilities and end-of-visit examples demonstrate structure. They are not certified requirements, safety assessments or a substitute for the actual service agreement. Change them to fit the work you are documenting.
Files and limits
Templates support 1–30 checkpoints and imports up to 100 KB. Importing a template does not replace a collection. A collection supports up to twelve inspections. A full private backup is a different file and includes inspection findings and private notes; keep that distinction when sharing.
