From observation to review
Keep open findings visible.
The collection view shows checkpoints currently marked Needs attention and not resolved. It includes the inspection site and date, checkpoint wording, public observation and target date.
A reference date, not a time machine
Choose a date to classify targets as before, on or after that day. A blank target is shown separately. The status comes from the current record: choosing last week does not restore the state a finding had last week.
Separate snapshots stay separate
Repeated inspections can mention the same real-world issue. SiteSteady lists those records separately and does not deduplicate or synchronize their resolution. Open a recorded inspection to review and update its own finding.
Close the finding without erasing it
Keep Needs attention selected, enter a public resolution note, and mark the finding resolved. The original observation remains in that inspection’s report. Refresh the collection view to remove the resolved entry from its open list.
An empty list is not a completed inspection
Checkpoints that were never inspected do not appear here. Use each inspection report to check coverage and uninspected items. This tool sends no reminders or notifications and does not assign work to other people.
Save explicitly after changes. Full backups include internal notes; the findings view excludes those fields but public observations may contain text you entered.
